Number of foreign IT companies operating in Uzbekistan revealed
As of March 1, 2026, a total of 1,242 foreign companies are operating in Uzbekistan's information and communications sector, according to the National Statistics Committee.
A breakdown by country shows that the largest share belongs to Russia, with 457 companies operating in the country. Kazakhstan ranks second with 113 companies, followed by Belarus in third place with 63.
In addition, 58 companies from the United States, 51 fromTurkey, 40 from China, 32 from the United Arab Emirates, 30 from Japan, 29 from Tajikistan, and 28 from South Korea are active in Uzbekistan's information and communications sector, along with 341 companies from other countries.
