Donald Trump sends a letter to Shavkat Mirziyoyev
US President Donald Trump has sent a letter to President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov said.
In his letter, the US leader highly praised Mirziyoyev’s participation in the inaugural meeting of the Peace Council held in February this year.
He also noted that President Mirziyoyev is achieving significant results in Uzbekistan and expressed gratitude for the invitation to visit the country.
President Trump also invited the Uzbek leader to the next meeting of the Peace Council, as well as to the G20 summit to be held in Miami.
“May God bless you and the great people of Uzbekistan,” the letter reads.
