Address by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the Fourth Tashkent International Investment Forum

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilhom Aliev held a meeting in a narrow format in  Zagulba residence.

On August 8, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met a delegation of Turkish company Cengiz Holding headed by Chairman of the Board Mehmet Cengiz.

There is downward shift in exports of Tashkent region compared to last year, particularly Yangiyul district, Bekobad and Chirchik cities in textile production, Zangiota and Yukorichirchik  in electrical engineering products, and Almalyk in production of building materials.

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the first summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asian countries' leaders on 19 July.

Four years ago, it was ordered to build “Tashkent-Samarkand”, “Tashkent-Andijan” toll roads and a toll tunnel at “Takhtakoracha” Pass. However, neither the project nor practical work on attracting investors has been started yet.

Candidate for presidency Shavkat Mirziyoyev said about it at the meeting with voters from Tashkent region.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting in Milan with investors and big business representatives of the country as part of business events during his official visit to Italy.
